WHO WAS DISAPPOINTED

I was reading your blog, and came across the DAY 22, AX (AFTER X-FILES) letter from a fan named Carlotta.
I 100% agree that no fan of "The X-Files" was disappointed in the film. The only so-called fans who were disappointed were still asking questions like, “Do you think Mulder and Scully will FINALLY have a physical relationship in this film?”
I’m sorry. . . what was that? Don’t these so-called fans know Mulder and Scully had a baby together? Sure it was a test-tube kid, or possibly the spawn of Scully’s implant, but I can’t imagine they wouldn’t have… you know.
Even the TV Guide article about the movie was asking stupid questions that any fan would know the answer to. First actual kiss. . . "Millennium," season 7, episode 5.
First actual intercourse. . . most likely "all things," but that’s questionable, because the great thing about "The X-Files" was that you implied many times (even earlier than the 7th season) that they might have been in a relationship already.
I think the only people who might have been disappointed were morons who half-watched "The X-Files." And they had incorrect pre-conceived notions about what the movie SHOULD have been. Not what it was, which was TRUE to the show, TRUE to the characters, and true to the creators.
So again, thank you to you and everyone involved. I’m sad that it didn’t make more money, but I’d be happy to purchase any XF: IWTB merchandise that may come out. I collect TV memorabilia, and my biggest collection is "X-Files" stuff, so please. Any chance of a metal lunch-box? I collect those too. J
