THANK YOU SO MUCH
... to you, Chris, Gillian and David for making XF2 happen! Being a fan since day 1, I have been looking forward to it! And although the wait was long and frustrating, it was well worth it.
I loved the movie, to me it is a great balance between suspense and love.
I found Gillian's performance particularly strong and moving;
and David playing a Mulder, still true to his beliefs, but more open and showing his feelings (if I may say, I prefer Mulder with a 2-day beard :-D, although this one made a lot of people laugh);
I was of course delighted with the ending, and the after-the-credits scene (I suppose you didn't go to Hawaii to film that one?).
This means some more moments of happiness to come for Mulder & Scully, they so deserve it!
Meeting with other philes of different ages, on the opening day here- and on different internet forums- made me realise that the X-FILES mean a lot to all of us in so many ways, and that we're like a big family. All this fandom, after so many years just prove how the X-Files has been able to evolve and that it is just the best series ever, both intelligent and emotional.
I'll go see the movie again and again until all theatres in Paris stop showing it.
And I am not giving up hope for a third movie (please don't wait six years to do it! :D - you know philes are very demanding too). Because we still need answers to all questions left unanswered, and also to close this wonderful chapter that are the X-FILES. Although I'd never want it to end...
