SOME QUESTIONS
Frank,
I have a couple questions for you that I'm hoping you can answer.
The first question is in regards to a sign seen in Nutter's Feed and Animal Supply in "I Want to Believe." The sign says 'Treat Ur-Self'. In the episode "Small Potatoes," Eddie Van Blundht's advice to Mulder was "treat yourself." Was this purely coincidental or one of the many in-jokes?
The second question is in regards to the episodes picked for the Revelations DVD. In "I Want to Believe," Agent Whitney refers to past cases Mulder worked with psychics. She mentions Clyde Bruckman and the episode "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" is on the Revelations DVD. She mentions Luther Lee Boggs who was in the episode "Beyond the Sea" which is also included on the Revelations DVD. The 3rd psychic she mentions is Gerald Schnauz who was in the episode "Unruhe" which was not included in the Revelations DVD. Was "Unruhe" ever on the list of episodes that were considered for the Revelations DVD?
Thanks for everything, Frank.

Another good catch. "Treat yourself" is, in fact, an in joke. It's something David Nutter used to say (which is why it's posted inside Nutter's Feed). I don't believe "Unruhe" was considered for the DVD collection, which was not really intended to directly tie into the movie, but simply to highlight a variety of the best episodes of the series.
