NEW GENERATION
My 16-year-old daughter went with me to see the movie last week, and she wants me to take her to see it again today! She's never watched the show, but she loved the movie as much as I did.
I just don't get the reviewers who criticized it. What exactly IS the criterion that they use thse days? Body count? Explosive tonnage? Percentage of hearing loss?
We sat through at least five trailers for horribly violent, pointless movies ("Deathrace"?! For Christ's sake!) before "The X-Files" rolled. I don't understand how anyon can weigh that mindless noise and carnage against a quiet gem of a file like "X-Files" and not see what a beautiful movie you've made.
