MULDER/SCULLY OR DAVID/GILLIAN?

There's a video on Youtube with Mulder and Scully talking about things they miss about each other (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmLlnfJr9hI). Was it just another something to misdirect us? Or was it really Gillian and David? Or something I didn't even think of?
Btw, I loved the movie! It was very thought-provoking.

Those were promo spots David and Gillian ad-libbed in character as Mulder and Scully during camera and wardrobe tests for the movie last November.
