A GINORMOUS BELATED THANK YOU
I just wanted to add to the list of THANK YOU's for the amazing events that took place this summer. I feel so blessed and honored to have been a part of the movie premiere in Hollywood. I can't explain to you the simultaneous love and humility, pride and elation that I felt when we were told we were invited inside to see the film. I was able to watch an amazing story on a giant screen in a beautiful place with all the people that I had looked up to and followed since I was a little kid. I started watching "The X-Files" when I was six years old. In many ways it has shaped who I am as a person. My vocabulary greatly consists of quotes from the series. I have grown up with Mulder and Scully just as I have grown up with members of my family. When the show went off the air, it was like losing two close friends. This film meant so much to so many people and I just wanted to be able to send a sincere thank you to everyone who was involved in making it, from the bottom of my heart.
I also wanted to thank Chris and Frank for speaking with fans and taking the time to do signings at Comic Con this year. As if my "X-Files" experience could get any better! My boyfriend and I were there, dressed as Mulder and Scully, feeling like the biggest nerds in the world, but insanely proud to be representing such a wonderful piece of pop culture. I dyed my hair from blonde to red just for the occasion! Thank you for the autographs and for the pictures. Thank you for the film and for the series. Thank you for all your hard work and all the passion and dedication that you have put into this franchise. It does not go unnoticed. I'll be praying consistently for a third movie.
Until then,
