DAY 22, AX (AFTER X-FILES)

Hello there!
I haven't written in a while and now I'm definitly in the mood for that, especially because I'm listening to the amazing soundtrack crated by that genius named Mark Snow.
Twenty-two days are passed from the first time I saw the movie and I've seen it five times so far (and it hasn't been released in my country yet). I just love it. It's a love that I can't control, it's a kind of obsession, and thank God it's summer because I can't focus on anything but "X-Files"!! I'm not going to talk about every single thing I liked in the movie because I already sent you an email about that. You worked really hard on this movie for months, allowing us to speculate on improbable plots, to talk about M&S relationship's development, to meet new philes, to meet you, Chris, David, and Gillian. A lot of people say that the wait for an event is even better than the event itself, and I have to admit that the preparation for this movie release was just awesome. But now it's not over, no way. We're still promoting the movie in our way (writing to magazines, taking pics of the billboars, convincing people to go and see the movie at the theater) and we're fighting against unwarranted reviews that don't understand the deepness of this movie. We argue when the press says that there was no promotion: that's true, but we're glad because we didn't know the plot before the release. We argue when the reviews are based just on the money used to make the movie: a high budget doesn't necessarily mean that the quality is good. We argue when people say that the movie doesn't evoke the old "X-Files" atmosphere: are we sure that we've seen the same movie?! I heard that what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. And we all are stronger now and ready to fight for the third movie.
But there's something that I read and really hurted me. Apparentely, journalists are saying that the fans are disappointed by the movie. This is the main reason that pushed me to write to you. I just wanted to tell you that it's a HUGE lie! 'Trust No One' and keep reading all the emails that you receive because they're the only way that we have to tell you how much we love "X-Files" and that we'll do everything we can for the third movie!!
David used a word during the Los Angeles premiere, 'loyalty', and you can bet that the X-philes are loyal!!
Thanks again for everything!!
