WORD OF MOUTH
We were both personally disappointed in the outcome of Friday and Saturday night's box office grosses for this movie. We loved it and we want to encourage everyone around us to go see it... again and again!
I don't know how many of the fans are on facebook, but we created a group called "Save The X-Files:I Want To Believe!" that we figured would help in spreading this cause. If everyone who has facebook can join and invite everyone they know, this group will spread fairly quickly and hopefully by next weekend we will boost the box office sales a bit!

Also, a word of encouragement from someone who works in the movie theater industry: the opening weekend is not everything! It's ALL about word-of-mouth! For instance, Titanic (which I would NEVER compare our beloved movie to), opened with only 28 million on its opening weekend... but went on to break many, many records as it continued to play... simply because of good word-of-mouth! This gives me hope and I hope that it will do the same for everyone else!
