SECOND OPINION

I want to second the post from Donna, who wrote that the fan base isn't comprised only of shippers. I've never seen a relationship portrayed that is as captivating and hopeful as Mulder and Scully's, but I think this is because of the possibilities and ideas that formed their story, just as the possibilities were what made their cases and their individual perspectives interesting. Romance is a part of that, but I guess I think of romance in a wider sense because of “The X-Files.” To me, buttonholing a relationship or a phenomenon as one type of thing or another damages the art, and “The X-Files” is art.
Thank you for the stories so far, and for more stories to come. I'll try to come up with something lighter and more fun for another message.
