HOW THE WIDGET WORKS
Hi!
Theres a BIG load of us at the widget chat tonight, and we are wondering how the jolly thing really works. Is the revealing of the next clue really dependent on fan participation? Does the movement of the bar REALLY depend on how many people are signed in?? We experimented by posting like maniacs and signing in and out on cue -lots of fun ;) -but nothing proved very effective. Come on, we are desperate for that clue!!
By the way, thank you soooo very much for all this X-citement, this film is the highlight of the decade!

According to the wonderful people who set up the web site, the widget is designed to reveal clues based on the interaction rates of fans, which includes each time new users add the widget to their personal page. However, the widget reveals the clues in chunks rather than gradually over time. This is why fans that rapidly interact with the widget over and over won’t see an immediate revelation of more of the clue. Once the threshold for the next portion of the reveal is met (i.e., the number of interaction rates for that stage), more of the clue is revealed.
