BIG THANK YOU!
I wanna start by thanking you, David, Gillian, Chris and the rest of the cast and crew who have worked so hard on this new movie, and who will definitely make my wait worthwhile in another 15 days =D
I visited the mall here yesterday, and I was disappointed... no, scratch that, royally pissed, to see that a poster of “The X-Files: IWTB” was not up!!!
I actually had every intention of writing to the manager and giving him a few choice words on this... but, thanks to my Dad, I refrained since he reminded me that this is a small city, in a small country and very few people, mainly Americans and Europeans will be aware of TXF at all!!!
What upset me the most is that my older brother, who lives in Malaysia, sent me a photograph of himself at a theatre over there, posing in front of an XF poster which read 'July 31st.’ I was pretty thrilled at the time and told him off since I would watch it an entire week before him.
But, the other day, all that came crashing down, and it worsened when I wondered whether a couple of my friends, my dad (who is just accompanying me) and I would be the only people at the theatre on the first day!!!
I've been making constant visits to every DVD store I know (about 5 of them) since last month, hoping to find “The X-Files” DVD box sets, but have been unsuccessful. I've seen box sets for ancient shows like “Full House,” and I even complained about this at a couple of places.
I'm hoping to get my hands on all the stuff and go through everything... but most importantly, I am waiting for “The X Files: Revelations” to be released here!!!!
Thank you once again for everything you have done... And, if I don't write again soon if you do have time, please, do wish David, Gillian, Chris, Mitch, Billy, Amanda, and all the other people who were a part of “The X-Files” for so many years, and whose efforts have kept the fire alight, the very best for the premiere (wherever and whenever) and a BIG THANK YOU, as well!!
