I appreciate so much your generosity with your time and energy! I imagine you read some pretty strange stuff, but I still think it's great for us to be able to contact you and get feedback about various things.
My twin sister and I were watching "Herrenvolk" yesterday and ended up figuring out how old Vanessa Morley would be now (answer: 22 - two years older than us), which is strange, since we always guessed that one of the reasons Vanessa didn't play 14-year-old Samantha in "Closure" may have been because she didn't look the right age. But Vanessa *was* 14 in 2000, so why was Mimi Paley cast? Was it not possible to bring Vanessa down from Vancouver?

Good catch! You're exactly right. But aside from any difficulties attempting to bring Vanessa down from Vancouver to reprise the role, there was something interesting about the ambiguity of casting another face altogether in the role (and you know we like ambiguity at "The X-Files!").
