THANK YOU FROM SCOTLAND
I was reading your blog with some fan stories and felt compelled to send you an e-mail just expressing my gratitude towards you and the rest of the "X-Files" team. The show has had a major impact on my life, beyond what I could ever imagine a TV show could. That is what is so unique about "The X-Files" -- I feel it engages with people on a very personal emotional level. I started watching the show when I was 15 (I'm 21 now) and it really touched my heart. I discovered it at a strange time in my life, I guess you could say I was pretty depressed, but for one reason or another "The X-Files" really gave me strength
throughout my teenage years. I became immersed in the world of the show, the lives of Mulder and Scully and became part of an almost subculture online.
Having excelled at school and now studying at one of the country's top universities, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I am now planning to pursue a career in television and film production. I feel that if television can resonate so deeply the way that "The X-Files" did for me, then I'd be willing to devote the rest of my life into creating something that is even half as good. I made some fan videos on YouTube and I found it wonderful how those simple shots of Mulder and Scully can really speak volumes:
Clair De Lune is my own interpration of the show and the characters --

And 'Reflections' is a retrospective look at show and emotional journey of the characters --

I guess the reason I wanted to show you them was to convey just how much the show meant to me and what it represented. Thank you for everything you have done, my gratitude is beyond words. I hope the new movie will allow other
people to experience and engage with the show the way I have.
Many many thanks!
