INSPIRATION
Sadly enough, I was too young when "The X-Files" began, but once the first movie came out I could happily call myself an X-phile. The show has really been an inspiration to me, in my studies, in life, and in my relationships. Thanks to your brilliant work on the show I found my passion in science and law. Scully's character has always been an inspiration in all I do and I am thankful to have found the show at an early age.
When "The X-Files" ended in 2002, I had no idea what to do with myself, and I guess I was going to have to find another TV show to fill the void (that sounds desperate!). But then I heard the announcement that Chris Carter wanted to make a second "X-Files" film and ever since then I have worked to build my XF collection, meet as many other philes as possible, and gain the most knowledge of my favorite TV show. When I learned that production was finally going to begin in 2007, there was nothing else I cared about (and my studies did suffer). Then when the release date was set I thought I might "lapse into catatonic schizophrenia " (to quote one of my favorite lines).
Really, what I'm trying to say is, I can't thank you enough for the work you have put into the series, the new movie coming out this summer, and any future project you may have. Your work has played an essential role in the lives of thousands of X-philes and just remember that we are out there and will always remain loyal. I do hope Chris Carter and yourself decide to make a third film, I couldn't stand for this to be the last time we see Mulder and Scully on the big screen.
Well, I've rambled on here for a while now so I'll just sum all this up with a few questions that have been asked thousands of times. One thing that has bothered me to no end would be the question of where did Scully child come from? Was it the product of a union, or a government project? Secondly, if a third film is made, will Doggett and Reyes be in it, and will the plot have anything to do with out good friends the aliens? I hope you are able to find some time to answer these questions, and I once again would like to share my undying gratitude to you and the rest of the cast who have made me who I am today.
Cheers ( an X-phile for life),

William was indeed Mulder and Scully's son, but I'm afraid I can't answer your other questions just yet!
