BENCH MYSTERY

Upon visiting Vancouver in January 2008 with two fellow "X-Files" fans, I noticed that the infamous "The Truth is Out There" bench that "The X-Files" had donated to Cates Park in North Vancouver back in 1997 seems to have vanished. Do you have any idea what happened to it? I had first seen it in the summer of 2006 along the south shore of the park and come January of this year, it was no longer in that spot. We even ventured through the park in the rain and the mud (and the rain) searching for it. Was it moved or, heaven forbid, stolen? I've tried contacting the park as well. It was such a brilliant idea for a donation to Vancouver and became rather iconic among fans.
