"DAEMONICUS"
I recently watched the "X-Files" episode titled "Daemonicus" for the first time. Afterwards I noticed you had not only written but also directed that episode. In only your second time directing, I must say that was a fantastic job. What really stood out to me were the scene transitions, like when it showed one man's face and then morphed into that of Kobold's. Holy cow, that was creepy. It also foreshadowed that Kobold was in the man's head, controlling his thoughts. Another creepy transition was when the clouds were moving rapidly across the sky and a face appeared, again turning into Kobold.
The story was very good as well. It kept you guessing up until the very end and even left you thinking about it for hours after it was over. I rank it up there among the best "X-Files" episodes. Its the epitome of what "The X-Files" is all about; a creepy story that sticks in your mind, making you question what you saw.
Thank you for an outstanding job on not only that episode, but for all your hard work on "The X-Files."
