BRING THEM BACK
I was wondering if there are any projects you or you and the gang are working on that go along the lines of "Lone Gunmen," "Millennium" and "The X-Files" (other than the 2nd "X-Files" movie)?
We (hubby & I) love all the shows. I say "love" because we watch all the VCR tapes, bought the DVDs and watch the reruns. It is very apparent, at least to me, that Fox is in SERIOUS TROUBLE with their nightly line-ups! It is not just one certain night, it is all seven nights they need help with. They have tried so many different combinations that if they keep it up they will NOT have a single devoted watcher for any of their shows. That is unless they would start showing reruns of those three shows stated above.
This seems to me to be the PERFECT time to take them a script that brings back the FAITHFUL viewers of "The X-Files," "Millennium" and "The Lone Gunmen." You have nothing to lose, they have EVERYTHING to gain and the "Cult Fans," as they call us, are back raising their shares!
I personally do not believe that continuing any of the already established shows would be a bad thing! So what if the Lone Gunmen supposedly died? They got out at the last minute and Mulder's memory of them [in the series finale] was his mind playing tricks on him. As in "The X-Files," you base it around William becoming an agent and reopening the X-Files, but getting help from Mom & Dad in cases. He finds Samantha for real and helps solve the unresolved issues "The X-Files" did not.
I am a serious "fan" but I also like to watch a great TV series that make me feel, wonder and anxious to watch week after week.
I didn't look up or follow the suit between Mr. Carter and Fox, but I saw news that it was over, so I think someone should go in there and point out to Fox that they have not been the same since they ended "The X-Files." Please be that voice and/or convince others that there are still DEVOTED watchers that will come back Sunday night or any night to see any of these return or expand on what they left us with as a closers. We know that there is so much more for you to share with us in this venue!!

Nothing is in the works, but I have great affection for the characters in "Millennium" and "Lone Gunmen" and would love to revisit them. If the opportunity to bring them back (in any way) comes along, I'll jump at the chance.
