"AMPED"
I was wondering if you could tell us if "Amped" is still in production. My friends and I are huge fans of your work and we all loved "Night Stalker" and were thrilled to hear about "Amped," but the last time we checked The Futon Critic was no longer listing it in their development section, which kinda freaked us out.
I wish you the best of luck in your career. We really appreciate what you do.

"Amped" is still "in development," which means we're discussing the project with the studio and the network, but we haven't actually started production -- we hope that will happen later this year. As always, when I have news, I'll post it on this site.
IN THE GROOVE
What a waste to end "Night Stalker!" The show was just getting better and better -- I thought it was finding its groove through the new episodes and like another poster on this message board, I was fascinated by the different arc threads that were being built up. I'm excited that Sci-Fi is going to air at least the existing episodes, and I very much hope Sci-Fi can be convinced to revive the show (??). Please keep us posted. And I am looking forward to the DVD commentary you mentioned for more insight. Though that won't be as satisfying as watching it all unfold.

"NIGHT STALKER" MOVIE?
Have you considered approaching Sci-Fi Channel about a movie picking up from the last episode? It might be an easier sell than a commitment to a series.

Stranger things have happened, but at the moment there are no plans for a movie.
STILL WATCHING
Let me say that I just keep watching my downloaded "Night Stalker" episodes over and over again, as I just can’t seem to accept that it’s gone, even after all this time. How much of "Night Stalker" is what you would’ve done on "The X-Files," had the series gone on?
Eagerly awaiting your next project,

While the storytelling style in "Night Stalker" has a lot in common with "The X-Files," the series was going in a very different direction, as evidenced by the two-part episode, "The Source" and "The Sea." I talk more about this -- and reveal a number of the series' secrets -- in the audio commentaries that will be included when "Night Stalker" is released on DVD late this spring. Later, I'll also be posting an episode guide on this site that will answer more questions.
