LOOKING FORWARD

I attended your panel at Comic-Con and I really enjoyed the presentation, as did my husband. (Our teenage son was unfortunately ensconced at the Nintendo booth the entire con and our teenage daughter was star-gazing in Hall H, sigh.)
We are very much looking forward to your new show (even though we're still not over what happened to baby William, LOL!). My daughter liked what I told her about Gabrielle Union's character and my son liked the "scary" aspect.
I feel like "The X-Files" catered a little too much at times to scaring/teasing teenage and preteen boys, yet it obviously had a huge fan base of people my age (40s now and all genders). But it was a frustrating show to be a fan of... I hope "Night Stalker" will not only try to scare kids to death, but also appeal to the adult viewer!
And I echo the plea of the woman who asked the question about the victimization of females!

You summed up our goal perfectly: to scare kids to death, but also appeal to the adult viewer.
For those of you who weren't able to attend Comic-Con, we screened a 20-minute excerpt of the "Night Stalker" pilot, then Stuart Townsend, Gabrielle Union and I answered questions before an audience of about 4,000 people. As Esther indicated, one woman asked whether the series was going to be preoccupied with killing women. I reassured her, and I'd like to reassure you: The supernatural forces on our show will menace (at least) as many men as women. It will be scary. And fun.
