MULDER AS OSIRIS
First of all, I would like to thank you and Chris Carter and all of your associates for “The X-Files.” I personally feel it is not only the greatest show in television history, but I also think “The X-Files” is a bonafide modern mythology and its importance is yet to be understood. These times we find ourselves in also lends the show an air of genuine prophecy as well.
In that spirit, I would just like to refer you to a short work of exegesis I did both for myself and for some friends and fans. In it, I posit what may either be ancient history or a total shock to you – that the last three seasons retell the story of Osiris, Isis and Horus in a way both maddeningly discreet and at the same time mind-bogglingly comprehensive. I compare the ancient myth with events starting with “Biogenesis” and ending with “William.” If perchance you have time to read it, you’ll either think me a genius or a lunatic. (Please forgive the bare-bones design!)

I hope you enjoy it. And by the way, this is just the very tip of the iceberg of my "X-Files" analysis, and it gets far, far stranger. But I won't burden you with that now!

I can't say all this was intended, but it's a fascinating (and impressively detailed) analysis, nonetheless.
